| Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954, in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name used by her parents. Lennox was admitted to the Royal Academy of Music in London during the 1970s when she learned the flute piano and the harpsichord over three years. Her budget was supplemented by a stipend for students and part-time work. Lennox made the decision to alter her path in life when she was dissatisfied with her inexperience in the same way as other Royal Academy students. Lennox started out as an instrument player with the group Dragons Playground. The group did not appear on the competition for talent New Faces on I.T.V. Between 1977 and 1980 she was main vocalist of The Tourists, a British Pop band. In this band, she made friends with Dave Stewart and together they formed The duo Eurythmics. Lennox started working on her debut solo album Diva, which was released by 1992. This album became a huge hit with regard to selling and the critical acclaim. Nostalgia Lennox's 6th solo album came out in November of 2014. The C.D. contains a collection of Lennoxs favorite soul jazz and blues tracks from her early years. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four piano improvisations, was released by Lennox in May 2019. The E.P. is a companion piece of her artwork in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled"Now, I'll let You Go... It's also her first independently released album. Annie Lennox is a Scottish artist and singer born on the 25th of December 1954. The Tourists had a minor hit in late 1970s. Lennox as well as Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, proceeded to gain international recognition in the 1980s as the Eurythmics. Medusa an album from her studio, that was released in 1995 features versions of some of her best-loved songs, including the No MoreI Still Love Yous (and The Whiter Shade of Pale).
